Today's review focuses on a cute neighborhood spot in Pac Heights called Jane, or rather Jane on Fillmore (their other location is on Larkin).  

I've been here twice for their almond milk latte and...I didn't get the hype.  The first time I came here was last summer in a Saturday morning and the line was crazy! After waiting quite a while for my latte (and my morning caffeine) I was pretty disappointed that their almond late was slightly bitter.  My most recent trip there was nothing special.  I enjoyed the people watching scene, the fact that I actually got a table to read at (I came late on a Wedneaday afternoon), and the location, but my latte was sub par.

The service was great the second time I came.  Really cool people working there. 

If you're a toast person, though, they have an interesting concoction with hazelnuts and ricotta; my fav spot is still The Mill but give Jane's toast a try if you're around, especially if you're disappointed by your latte.

Overall: 4/5 for ambiance and location but 3/5 for flavor.
