Yesterday, I was in San Jose for a friend's birthday at SAP Center.  Anyway, I wanted some caffeine and saw that B2, a place I used to frequent, was pretty close by. 

Note: I also used to frequent its sister location (Bellano Coffee) on Stevens Creek in San Jose, but sadly, it closed last year :(. So, since it closed down, I sorta forgot about it and made due with other coffee shops near Bellano. 

Anyway, I went there and ordered a vanilla almond milk latte (they make their own almond milk AND vanilla).  WOW! After one sip, I remarked "This may be the most delicious thing I have all day."  It really hit the spot, probably because it reminded me a lot of my past experiences at Bellano and of Cafe 4 (more on the latter later in this post).

So...I feel like some coffee spots don't do fantastic latte art, but their beverages are quite literally perfect. That's what I noted about B2. My latte art kinda sucked but my beberage's taste was out of this world...

The Taste

Their almond milk is perfect. If I didn't get it with vanilla, it still would have tasted great. The vanilla, though, wasn't overpowering. It tasted like a light sweetener and paired smoothly with the almond milk. It probably brought our more of the flavors of the espresso and milk as well. Their espresso beans are solid as well. If I didn't already have beans, I woulda bought some, for sure! My beverage truly reminded me of Cafe 4's sweetened almond milk latte. Both places make their sweetened lattes slightly sweet so you still taste how creamy their espresso is. I think B2 has to be added again to my top four list of coffee shops in the Bay (Cafe 4, Saint Frank, Four Barrel, and B2). B2, why did you close down the location by my work?!

Oh well...guess I'll have to come to San Jose more now. By the way, B2 is located in the San Pedro Square Market.  It's a super cute area (probably my fav area in San Jose). Lots of pubs and bars as well as cute restaurants around there as well.  B2 is also a great spot to work->lots of table space and I'm pretty sure they have wifi, though I haven't done work there in a couple years so can't confirm that point. When I went yesterday, we just grabbed our drinks and headed to SAP Center.
